Frequently asked Questions
Can I stay more than one night and is it available on weekends?
There is no problem extending your stay for a second night and thefunfactory.ie has an allocation for most weekends. However these are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
How far in advance do I have to make a booking?
It is recommended that you make a booking 2/3months in advance to get your first choice destination.
Can I do additional activities?
There is no problem adding as many activities as you would like. However, time constraints and travel time between activities locations may limit what can be completed in one day.
Do you provide transport to the activities?
Transport to activities is very popular among larger groups of 15–30 people and can be organized at an additional cost. Please note that transport is not included in the sample itineraries outlined above.
How much of a deposit per person is required to book?
To proceed with booking your Hen party with us, we require a deposit that is equivalent to 1 person’s full payment. This is a non-refundable deposit.
At what stage do I have to give final numbers for travelling and pay the balance?
We need to finalise the numbers travelling and outstanding payment not later than 4 weeks in advance. However this time frame may be reduced with advanced agreement from us.
Do you make restaurant booking for the group?
No we do not make booking groups in restaurants, but we can provide you with a list of local restaurants for you to make a booking with directly.
What if I cannot find what I would like for my hen weekend in Killarney in the information provided here?
This is not a problem. All you have to do is email info@thefunfactory.ie with your group requirements and we will put together the exact package that you require.
