Paintball
Overview:

Paintball is a big time Stag Do favourite and never fails to provide top value entertainment for all the crew. Each of our sites are set up with numerous different game zones that allow you the chance to utilise all your best Clint Eastwood moves and inflict a bit of pain humiliation on your mates in the process.

Kitting Up:

You can choose to do either a half day or a full day session, however we find for Stag Do's that a half day starting after lunch is ideal as it allows for a bit of precious hangover recovery time! Upon arrival at the site you will be kitted out in protective overalls and facemasks and issued with a top-notch, gas powered gun. After that it will be a quick safety and rules briefing, a test firing, and then onto the fields for some action.

The Games:

All of the sites we use have various different fields and scenarios set up to best suit the lay of the land. You can expect to encounter anything from Tanks and Helicopters, Suspension Bridges, Forts and even a Tora Bora cave network. Depending as to whether you are on the attacking or defending side, you will need to adapt you style of play from that of a Lee Harvey Oswald thru to a rampaging Rambo in order to seize the day.

Notes:

- Lunch and Refreshments included as part of the full day package
- The first 100 paintballs for each player are provided free on arrival.
- Additional paintballs can be purchased on site from €7 per 100. Cheaper ammo is available buy in bulk amounts (500+)

Times:

Games run either for a full day or morning / afternoon sessions.

Kart Racing
Event Overview:

The karting grand prix is the staple diet of most Stag do’s and group events – and for good reason. The grand prix events provide excellent value for money and never fail to entertain – however many times you have done it. The venue has electronic lap timing to enhance each race and ramp up the competition element – if you fail to win the race you can always get as much satisfaction by setting the fastest lap time.

The Track:

A challenging 550m indoor track with a 90m straight, tunnels, a bridge and an underpass, this track is one of the biggest in the North of England. All karts are tested weekly to match them for speed so no arguments over having a better kart.

The Race Format:

Endurace Race

The endurance race format is a team event (generally 2-3 to a team). The object being to cover the greatest number of laps in the allotted time. Each driver spends approx 25 minutes at the wheel (including 5 min. practice), which means in teams of three the race itself will be one hour long. All teams are on the track at the same time so overtaking, pit stops and strategy play a huge part in determining the eventual winner. A display screen near the pits keeps everyone up to date on the leaders and slowcoaches.

The Karts:

200cc Karts JB karts.

Duration:

Approx 1½- 2 hours.

Notes:

Mini Grand Prix for 12+ Drivers.
Eliminator 8-16 Drivers.

Dune Buggy Racing
The Buggies:

These cars have a powerful 400cc engine linked to an automatic gearbox, in a chassis with a full roll-cage and all-round spring suspension making them very forgiving for the first-timer and a lot of fun for everybody. There's only two pedals for stop and go. It's just driver and machine against opponents and terrain, leaving you to concentrate on steering your way around the challenging circuit in front of you.

The Race Format:

Initial instruction and safety briefing is followed by a couple of practice laps to get the driver used to the track. Each driver then competes in 4 timed races of 7 laps each, with 4 buggies competing in any individual race (the middle 5 laps in between an warm up lap and a warm down lap). To prevent a mass pile up on the first corner, each kart sets of a split second after the previous kart (all karts will have left the start line within a couple of seconds each other).

To allow for any slight differentiation in kart performance, each driver swaps karts at the beginning of each race, so every driver will have driven in each of the karts in 1 race. A grand final is then set up for the fastest drivers from the pre-final race heats, with a bottle of bubbly for the winner.

The Track:

The track is specifically designed to get the most out of the buggies, while providing extreme racing in a safe environment. The dirt track incorporates bump, humps banked corners and jumps (where catching air is part of the game).

Included:

All safety equipment.

Notes:

Track Length = 400 metres.
Hot food is available on site.

Duration:

Allow approximately 2.5 – 3 hours.

Numbers:

Minimum number of 16 people for exclusive race.
